The complete package for a start-up – from branding and UX design to technical implementation in just 4 months
The project began with a clear vision: to create a digital platform that connects job-seeking nursing professionals with positions where their shift preferences ideally complement those of the existing team.
In an agile and streamlined process, we jointly developed:

- A scalable web application that not only works today but can grow alongside the product and user base.

- A backend with user management that supports the start-up’s core features.

For Schichtmatch, we chose our modern tech stack based on Node.js, TypeScript, Vercel, and more—providing a solid foundation for future growth. The architecture enables flexible further development, whether for new features or a growing user base.
Schichtmatch is an innovative job platform that connects nursing professionals and healthcare institutions directly—without the detour through temp agencies. It was developed to meet the specific demands of the nursing sector and to offer both caregivers and organizations an efficient and fair solution for staffing.
Platform Features
- Individual Shift Preferences: Nursing professionals can specify which shifts they are available for on which days.
- Targeted Job Postings: Healthcare institutions indicate in their job listings which shifts are currently understaffed.
- Direct Matching: The platform connects caregivers and institutions whose shift preferences align.
- Simple Application Process: Nurses can apply with a single click. Institutions receive all relevant information, including availability and contact details.
- Anonymized Profiles: Institutions can view anonymized profiles of suitable candidates and reach out if interested.
A Website That Grows With the Start-up
In addition to the platform itself, we developed a modern, responsive website for Schichtmatch.ch. All content can be managed and updated independently by the team through the integrated Payload CMS.
Thanks to its modular structure and reusable components, new pages can be created flexibly without any technical knowledge. This ensures the website remains up to date and grows dynamically with the start-up’s needs—without requiring any coding effort.
